Privacy notice

This Privacy Notice describes how the dealw.me site (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use the marketplace, member area, partner dashboards, and related features. The data controller is the organisation operating the site (the “Operator”) — identify the Operator in your imprint / contact page for your deployment.

We process data you provide (e.g. account email, display name, shipping details you enter at checkout), data generated by use (e.g. orders, messages, listing views counted for sellers in our database), and technical data (e.g. IP address, user agent in server logs for security and abuse prevention).

Purposes include: providing accounts and checkout, operating the marketplace, fraud prevention, analytics where you have consented (Google Analytics only after opt-in), and complying with law.

Legal bases may include contract (providing the Service you request), legitimate interests (security, improving the Service, seller analytics that are not invasive), and consent (optional analytics). You may withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time via the cookie banner / footer link.

Retention follows operational needs (e.g. orders for tax and dispute handling), then deletion or anonymisation where possible. Stripe retains payment-related data under its own policies.

You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, depending on applicable law (e.g. GDPR/CH). Contact the Operator to exercise rights.

International transfers may occur (e.g. Stripe, infrastructure). Use appropriate safeguards (SCCs, adequacy) for your deployment.
